US State Securities Regulators & Blue Sky Regulations

– *updated August 30, 2015 –

blue-sky-regulationsThe United States Securities Exchange Commission is the Federal securities regulator in the United States. Each individual State also has its own State securities regulator. All transactions that involve securities within a particular State must comply with that State’s securities rules and regulations, unless otherwise exempt. Both Federal and applicable State securities rules and regulations must be followed if a transaction involves more than one State.

Contact information and links to each State’s securities laws and regulations have been organized in folders. Just click on the name of the State to reveal the resources in that folder.
